Additionally, its iHome speaker allows you to control the robot using voice commands.
In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair with ease, removing huge amounts of debris from floors that were not bare and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpets where it struggled to reach dirt and dust embedded in the fibers. It was able navigate the legs of a chair, tiny spaces as well as the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on floors that were not paved however it soon recovered speed and performed more thoroughly than other robots we tested.
The IQ is a more suitable choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin, a longer battery life, and is better at navigating around obstacles. It has mopping tools that are able to remove sticky debris. The iRobot is, however, is more sturdy and has less components that require replacement or maintenance, incurs less cost per year, and can create virtual no-go zones with its companion application. The 11S is slim and sleek, and features a tempered-glass upper deck that resembles brushed aluminum. It's a nice change from the industrial and utilitarian designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.
In our tests, the eufy 11S was very effective in removing large particles and fine dust on hard flooring. It struggled to deep clean carpets with high and medium piles. It is also prone to smack into furniture and people that are in its path, but it's able to detect those obstacles using sensors. It ceases and emits a loud noise when it comes across an obstacle. It is then possible to manually steer the device around it and return it to working.
Another excellent feature of the eufy 11S is its BoostIQ mode that lets you set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match the type of floor and the amount of the mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S where you want it to move.
Single Room Mode is a great alternative if you have a small amount of furniture in the room you want to vacuum. The eufy will take 30 minutes focusing on cleaning the area that it is assigned to.
